A few years ago, I met Mike Butler through mutual friends, Cam and Cain Roberds. At the time, I was unaware of The Sands project. I have been working on marketing projects for Roberds for several years, and I always enjoy spending time with that group of people. Mike Butler and Joshua Workman are co-owners of Butler Homes, a company specializing in custom home building. Mike wanted to have lunch at Maison De Lu with me to talk about their new company called BW Artisan. While wrapping up our lunch, he asked if I would like to see his project on Front Beach, which had stopped construction due to some homeowners. I agreed, and we headed over. The first thing I saw when we pulled up were two almost complete homes with a The Sands at Front Beach sign in the mud, which made me sad. I told him that I wanted to focus on this project, and we got to work. This episode is more about our celebration of winning and starting the project back. I hope you enjoy it.
