Introduction
I want to start off by saying “Hello Reader”, I hope you’re having a great day! My name is Jourdan and I’m a 37 year old dad with cerebral palsy and dyslexia. I have a podcast called Jourdan Derouen Podcast (I put a lot of thought into the name). I have made the decision to start writing blogs about my guest and if you enjoy this article on different cannabis, leave me a comment and I may write more in the future. I have thought about doing this for a long time, but I have pushed it off due to my fear of writing. Today that changes. My friend Derek Paradoe recently opened his own medical dispensary, Cultiva Rx, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Fun fact about Derek Paradoe. He was in the band Atomship and wrote the album. First song he wrote was “Withered” at 14 (I have to add little facts in my blog like Marc Summers does in Unwrapped TV show). Back to the story – I went to checkout his location. I was greeted by Derek like a Walmart Greeter. Impressed by Derek’s store layout, Cultiva Rx reminds me of a clean bar if you switch out the whiskey for weed products. The layout was really cool and if you end up in Ocean Springs with a Mississippi medical card… GO
Derek Paradoe introduces me to Jason Burgess the general sales manager for Kind Life Companies at his store. Derek knows that I like to support local businesses so he began explaining that Kind Life Companies is a local Medical Grow in Pascagoula, MS. Derek hit me with “you got to try Planet of the Grapes strain I love it and use it before bed”. I was immediately interested because I’ve always struggled with getting to sleep and staying asleep. I have been looking for a strain to relax myself before bed. I asked the price. Derek hit me with $25 1/8. I was impressed by that price. All the flowers I have been buying were around the $35-$45 range 1/8. Derek then hit me with buy 3 or more save 30% in January. At that moment I knew I was hooked. I chatted with Jason at the shop for another 10 minutes. We exchanged contacts and I went home with 5 1/8’s that day. I reached out to Jason about being a guest on my show and he was in.
